Question: Even if I have a quick connection to the internet, downloading of video files is very slow. What can I do for it?
Answer: These web pages are placed od the server which isn't limited by speed. However, video files are meant to be slowed down to the speed of 512 kbps. There are two reasons for it:
1) Video files are of a big interest and all the time a many of files are being downloaded at the same time from the server. If the speed of downloading would not be regulated, the internet connections of the provider would be taken out only because of these videos.
2) Even if these pages are run as personal anunprofitable ones, it is necessary to pay for these operations. The speed of 512 kbps is at the moment the highest speed I can financially afford.
Due to a big discussion and request to sort out this problems (see Guest Book), an agreement was made for those users who can pay the independent connection at the guaranteed speed to the pages (see conditions here).

Question: Why after the choice of the English language aren't some texts in English?
Answer: Formerly, the pages were made in the Czech language. Because of growing interest from abroad, the pages started to be filled with texts in English. The texts are being put on the pages gradually, and of course where there isn't an English description, there is at least the original Czech text.
Naturally, some parts of the pages will not be translated into English for time reasons (e.g. Text Documents).

Question: Is there a possibility to choose another language apart from English and Czech?
Answer: Unfortunately, another language possibility doesn't exist and isn't being considered for the future.

Question: I can't play some of the videos that I obtained from these pages. How can I get rid of this problem?
Answer: Unfortunately, the answer isn't simple and clear. In most cases it is a problem of non-instaled codec for playing the particular video file. Here you can find an install program for codecs which are used in video files most often. How ever, apart from this some videos can't be played in the most often used Windows Media Player. It is necessary to choose alternative players (e.g. DivX player, BSPlayer, etc.) and what is more, some videos can't be played until you have a software DVD player installed. I would advise you to ask an expert to install suitable codecs for you.

Question: I can't downloaded a big video file. Downloading is interrupted after a while or I myself need to stop it for a moment. When I want to continue, the file starts to be downloaded again from the begining. How can I sort out this problem?
Answer: If you want to continue downloading after interrupting, you need to have a suitable program installed (e.g. Download Express, GetRight, FlashGet, etc.) which will extend functions of your web browser. Mostly this function isn't implemented in web browsers. Here you can find a tested install program for Internet Explorer.
